Day 3: The Wedding
Those of us not directly required to help out with the wedding prep took ourselves off to a thermal spa and spent the morning lounging and chatting in the mineral-rich hot water, a lovely way to take the edges off the excesses of the previous night.
Then we enjoyed a fabulous wedding, starting at 4 pm, with the church ceremony, followed by a reception complete with traditional Hungarian dancers; endless glasses of the local firewater, Palinka; course after course of delicious food; and dancing until dawn - (they tell me - I bailed out early with the kids).
Congratulations Jess and Pete, it was a wonderful wedding!
