Signs of autumn

I've spent the last couple of days working on our garden fence which after 20 years of good service has decided to fall from its perch. Several days of work still to be done.
Rummaging about in a dark corner of the garden I came across this bunch of fungi. After a very late spring and a wet and cold "summer" we seem to have started an early autumn!
