In the very centre of a pretty Surrey village is this cottage with its front wall swathed in roses. The perfume from them was very strong. This  very English view is a far cry from the England we are seeing on the news bulletins at the moment. 
The extra is the next door cottage, called Bay Tree Cottage. Did you ever see such a huge bay tree?
