On target?

The joy of trying something new.

I first tried archery over twenty years ago and thought I'd be very rusty not having done it many times since. Jamie has his own sighted bow and shoots regularly. Somewhat comical to see him attempting the low tech version - he missed the target completely with his first two arrows. Jonathan on the other hand had never picked up a bow in his life. He took to it very quickly. For forty five minutes we took it in turns to shoot three arrows apiece and were surprised we averaged between 20 and 24 on each group.

Unable to capture he arrow in flight sadly. On a 26lb pull they fly rather quickly!

Now all we need are some willing politicians to stand there with apples on their heads....
