Day 210

Super Sunday!

I had a lovely start to the day today with the house to myself for a whole hour! It might not sound a lot, but an hour of peace on a Sunday morning when you have a 4 year old is heavenly!

This afternoon we took a trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. It is such a fantastic place with so much to do and so much to learn - it's brilliant. And it's completely free. I can't recommend it highly enough. H absolutely loved it. And it was the perfect place to get today's blip, although I was spoilt for choice over which photo to choose. This was my other choice of blip for today. If you're ever in or near Manchester it's well worth a visit.

The air section of the museum is particularly good as it has aeroplanes and jets from both world wars - my Grandad was a 'tail end Charlie' in WW2, and seeing an aircraft with the section in where he would of sat made me feel completely humble to be honest. It really brought it all home.

We rounded off the day with tea and a few beers in the local pub. Perfect.
