Can't believe that July is practically gone!!!

Since its been a busy Sunday rushing around (more guests in the cortijo - plus I actually cooked today - woohoo!)...

...this evening I thought I'd do another quick shot of the lavender - its one of the few plants that grow in the 'garden' but with the heat and dryness, they're over now, marking the progression of summer here.

The crisp flowers give off an amazing aroma when rubbed - but as I clicked, then this guy flew in for a last minute nectar recce!
