Goodbyes...

A surprise gift to me from one of the groups that I've supported over the last few years at the end of its board meeting this morning. By one of life's quirks I was involved in setting the group up some thirty years ago as a young-ish community worker in Inverurie! It's been a privilege to reconnect all these years later. Oddly enough I was more emotional today as I begin to say farewell to the folk I've worked with than I was five years ago when I left the Council career behind.
