Devorgilla Bridge

Also known as Old Bridge.
Built in the 15th century, this is the oldest surviving multiple-arched bridge in Scotland it crosses the river Nith in Dumfries.
It is named after Devorgilla de Balliol who founded Sweetheart Abbey and funded the construction of an earlier bridge here.
