Wait Here

There's a bridge on my way to school and there have been traffic lights on it for months. 
I'm not sure what they're doing but it's taking a long time!
This morning was spent with Mrs C and Mrs R. They came round for tea and Mrs R kindly brought ginger biscuits and watermelon! 
Among other things we talked children, schools, houses, Europe and husbands.
When they'd gone Mr K whisked me out to lunch which was a treat. I had a delicious roast beef and horseradish sandwich and he stuffed his face with a burger.
Home to listen to Andy Murray's first round match at Wimbledon while I made the first batch of gooseberry jam. Success on both counts!
