Like I feel

Today was due to be a busy one and it absolutely was. Y9s experiencing their options subjects for the first time and lots of calls from parents who weren't happy with their children's options, even though they have been given four of their six original choices. Definitely a day when you can't please all of the people all of the time...

I also met some of my Y12 group for next year as they were  trying out their new subjects too. A bright and fairly talkative group which bodes well for us in September. 

And an early finish to meet up with a friend and colleague who hasn't been in work for a while. It was good to catch up with plans for more than a chat over a cup of tea to be arranged once this term / year is over. 

Home eventually to Bailey and we've not had a walk because it has been wet. He hasn't been too concerned and has snoozed most of the evening away. Early nights all round in preparation for another full on day tomorrow.
