Never forget

Amidst the hatred that a handful of leave supporters have inflicted on people with migrant origins I thought it was important to remember that not much over a week ago we were overwhelmed by outpourings of love and celebrating our diversity.
This is Birstall market place. We pass through here on the way to work in Leeds. So this morning I requested a stop to photograph the floral tributes while they are still there.
I still believe that love can triumph over hate. But I can't deny that the job seems harder since Friday.
