Dark Times

As if things weren't bad enough, there are now a bunch of ignorant imbeciles who think that the referendum result gives them licence to racially abuse other members of society.
Obviously, the fact that the media are all over it may make things seem worse than they really are but social media is full of it; I've seen a disturbing video of a man being attacked on a tram and, if the Jeremy Vine show is anything to go by,  it would seem that these sort of incidents are happening every day, all over the country.
Sad, worrying times.
In happier news, my little darlings are prepped and ready for their big pirate assembly tomorrow. Our dress rehearsal went (virtually) hitch free so I'm looking forward to getting into school tomorrow and wowing our audience.
