Hume Castle

This is my favourite picture that I have taken this week.
I took the scenic route home on my commute from Duns, past Hume Castle.
Standing there in the early evening light I felt what mathematicians and physicists; Buddhism and Taoism all teach-that our sense of time is an illusion. The generations who have stood in this pasture beneath the castles walls felt as present as the wind and the sky. No time rushing by on a journey to a final destination.Connectedness and calm and an eternal now.
