Eurotunnel

The journey down to Belgium seemed to be going well as we reached Dover way ahead of schedule and did a 'Tesco shop'. Our train was due to depart at 14:40 and we reached Dover at around 12pm. When we got to the checking in, there were notices saying there were departure delays of up to 90 minutes. Bit of a pain because it would be longer to wait since we were early! So we just sat and waited, popped into the terminal for a browse and to get some drinks. It was pretty hot too which made it worse. We finally got onto the train and lucky us; our carriage had no air con and was pumping out hot air. A lovely lady came round with bottles of water for us. Leaving the train, the car was a temperature somewhere in the high 30s. Immediately fell asleep driving through France and homemade pizza for tea in Belgium!
