It is official - Summer has arrived. The clouds in this photo were a rare sight today.
To counter this, I'm trying to get up at 7 am to enable me to do things before it gets too hot. It sort of worked today as I started on the ongoing "clearing up the ruin to make it into a swimming pool" project.
Best news of the day though was the phone call from DS#1 saying that he had got a 2:1 in his finals. Don't think anyone would have hoped for better and certainly wasn't a foregone conclusion as far as i was aware.
Yesterday's fasting clearly has some effect - weight heading in the right direction.
