The image shown in today’s blip is very popular at the moment, being used on the front pages of many international newspapers when referring to the result of last week’s EU referendum, which consequently left over 16 million people  very sad. The past week has also seen a number of major figures resigning from their posts as a result of the UK’s exit from the EU, and last night, even Ron Hodgson, the England football team manager tendered his resignation as a result of England’s exit from Euro 2016. Not a very good week for some!  In view of all these departures, it seems an appropriate time for me too  to take an exit, albeit on a temporary basis. Since the beginning of June, I have been very irregular with my entries, and in view of the problems I am still experiencing with my arm/hand as well as the numerous technical problems associated with the internet and the like, I have decided, reluctantly and after a great deal of consideration, to make my departure from the treasured blipfoto community, at least until September, when I hope that the situation will improve. Whilst I would really love to continue, I find that in view of my current situation, I am unable to dedicate the time necessary to remain a devoted blip member. I would like to say how much I have really appreciated being a part of your lives these past weeks, and I thank you sincerely for your following and for making my own life a part of yours. I look forward very much to being back with you later in the year, assuming that”Blipfoto” allow me to do so, and once I have been able to resolve the current complexities. I shall miss you all very much and I wish you all every good wish for the future and for your forthcoming blips. (michael-perkins@wanadoo.fr)
