Three months on

We spent a couple of hours up at the allotment - weeding, strimming, more weeding, hoeing....it did start to look better after a while, but there still isn't much food to be had on it. Some more broad beans and purple mange-tout and a few petit pois. Oh, and our first four French beans.

Mr and Mrs Fish stopped by on their way up the path with Nina, who gave me a lot of lovely gummy smiles and a few chuckles while Mr F and D were talking about apps. She is a cheery wee soul.

We all went up for a peek at the allotment I had blipped before that had had all the work done on it. (Turns out it was three months ago exactly.) Apparently it had all been fully planted up a few weeks back but then the tenants went away for three weeks and came back to a jungle of weeds with a small unplanned pond in the middle. Oh dear. (Kaybee was right!)
