Day 179 of 366 - Sir Joseph Paxton Memorial!
Today's photo was taken back at the London Road Cemetery in Coventry. The view is of the Paxton Memorial. This is a Grade II Listed monument that was designed by Joseph Goddard as a memorial to Sir Joseph Paxton. It was unveiled in 1868 (3 years after the death of Paxton). Sir Joseph Paxton was the architect behind the design and implementation of the London Road Cemetery. To the left side of the memorial is Terrace Walk which runs south, down a large section of the cemetery.
The photo was taken using the app ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Lightroom Mobile to edit the photo. I changed the White balance and applied a little bit of the Dehaze feature. I then boosted the saturation, clarity and highlights. Next I used the app ShockMyPic to give the image a slight painterly look. Finally I used the app PhotoToaster to add the Recover Highlights preset, the Vibrant FX, a small dark vignette and the Stucco texture. I then added the Charcoal frame.
