portsoy was scorchio! and the 10k route was a bit more hilly than expected, but really lovely. only 104 folk took part - mainly proper running club folk so it was a bit intimidating at the start. I got a good time though - a PB of 54.43 but my runkeeper said it was slightly short of 10k so I can't count it. pleased though. beefy did well too and we celebrated with a pint at the harbour. it was hoaching and we met a few crafters we know in the craft tents.

then back to shieldon for tea and to see uncle tom who's back for a few days. we sat outside in the rain with the chimnea on. cracking day.
