Essex Wildlife

Not the children this time, but a visit to Abberton reservoir and the visitor centre run by the Essex Wildlife Trust. After all the rain earlier in the day, the sun was more than welcome.

We trod with care on the way to the building from the car park. Signs posted along the way warned of baby toads crossing the path. Perhaps the warm sun sent them hoping for cover, but for whatever reason, we didn't see any.
