Nostalgia....

After spending a lovely evening celebrating friends 25th wedding anniversary in Lymm last night, we headed into the town centre this morning before returning home.

The Lymm Historic Transport Day was happening, so we went to watch the Drive-in Parade. Here's one of the steam engines setting off to join the parade.

I took the photo on my iPad, as I'd not taken my DSLR with me. I've done a bit of editing courtesy of Snapseed. Somehow it reminds me a little of the illustrations found in the old Ladybird children's books?
