Two woodpeckers who dared to linger...

Although it is not an uncommon occurrence for us to have a greater spotted woodpecker visit our nut feeder, to have a pair ( male & female) at the feeder together is extremely unusual. And better still for them to still be at the feeder when I've managed to fetch my camera most exceptional ! So I am gloating today that my blip was sorted so early in the day. The only bit that I had to work at, was in post-processing as the glare of the early morning sun was very strong and contrasty so I needed to brighten up the shadow areas.
