Sinking in....

One of those days when external matters strongly impinge on every discussion and a realisation dawns that it is going to take a lot of work to undo the damage caused by others. 

The poles at the end of the St Catherine's slipway in a rising tide and  on a rainy afternoon seemed an appropriate image for that thought.
