ON THE OUTLOOK

A day not warm, not cold, but I would not call it a nice summerday.
I worked in the garden, cutting away some branches along the steps of the drive, since it had been a bit overgrown.
Enough time left for reading, and a nice nap on the balcony.
And a phonecall with Mischa, who now has finished her text and has send it away.
Camera in hand I stepped outside to find a subject for today's journal.
I was surprised to find so many creatures, simply sitting, or flying everywhere.
I saw only one white butterfly, who did not even land somewhere.

My haiku:

Love your nice garden
Especially the yellow
Flowers everywhere

And the proverb:

The year does nothing else but open and shut.
