Fungus #2

Thanks to everyone who commented on yesterday's blip and especially to PennyBun who identified the fungus as (probably) Ink Caps which are deliquescing or liquefying. The helpful people at the Lost and Found Fungi Project could only say, 'The caps of these fungi have dried out causing them to crack and look very unusual so they're difficult to identify'. I went back to look at them today and they've changed again and seem to be cracking up - to stretch a metaphor of the current political situation. They're hardly recognisable as the same fungus, as you might say of some political parties and some individual career politicians.

I've not included an extra of the garden for a while but I will again this week. It's all coming on well but it's sometimes difficult to discern any changes.
