Tuscany

Day 4 of photo holiday. The best dawn I have ever seen. This is Val D'Orcia from below Castiglione D'Orcia. The swirling morning mist was like a sea. It's 'waves' were washing over trees and houses. Hiding them, exposing them and hiding them again. The warming early sun's rays cast the most beautiful shadows onto the 'waves'. At one point I stopped taking photographs so I could concentrate on its beauty. I felt privileged to have been there.
