2016 Sunday -- Going to Family Camp

Our granddaughter Desiree and our two great-grans, Tristan (9 yrs-old) and Jade (7 mos-old) left the boat terminal in San Pedro today for Family Camp on Catalina Island. Des's husband, Justin, could not get away at this time to accompany her. Justin is a U.S. Navy Recruiter in the midwest.

We decided this year that, if at all possible, we really wanted to have the entire summer on California's Central Coast in Cayucos, so a close girl-friend is going to camp with Des to help her with the kids. Des captured this photo this afternoon as soon as they got settled on the boat.

We know that Tristan loves attending family camp, so we'll be anxious to get the camp stories when this week concludes.
