Parkour 2012

Having found a source of artist's wooden figures at £3 each, I bought ten, specifically to build some kind of a longjump sequence. In the end, I found an astonishing acrobatics YouTube video and opted to express a small sequence from it in wood.

This meant having to break various spring-loaded joints and reattach them at more extreme angles than the average wood mannequin can manage.

The idea is that each of the figures stands for a moment in time, not that ten guys have decided to get airborne in quick succession.

I'm particularly pleased by the three who aren't attached to the beam (they are actually pinned to the wall using cable clips).
