Haar in the making
It was a beautiful day in Cruden Bay, bright sunshine, white sands and blue green sea. The seals were out and where a stream flowed into the sea there was a few whisps of fog starting to rise from the sea. The weather turned later and I wondered whether I witnessed the birth of the Haar, the sea fog that comes rolling in from the sea when the weather turns in Aberdeenshire.
Glad I came out to see the beach at its best. The extra is a picture postcard view of the bay from where I had my lunch.
