Relaxed day

So we started at 1am with a trip to Suicide circus to see Alan Oldham DJing. We only lasted until about half three as we'd been up since six am so we didn't catch his full set which was from two until five. What we did catch was really good though and I'm glad we headed out as by the time we headed back to the apartment the temperature was still in the high twenties so I struggled to get to sleep.

We had a lazy morning then headed out for coffee planning to meet Louie and her pal, but they hadn't made it down by the time we headed on. Roz and I did a bit of shopping before heading to visit Sacha, as I hadn't seen him since we were in Berlin in February.

After that we went up to Mitte and grabbed some dinner at a wee Italian called Mädchenitaliener on Alte Schoenhauserstraße which we were desperate to try in February but never managed to get a table. Really glad we did as the food was excellent and the home made lemonade along with the air conditioning was really refreshing as the temperature headed up into the high thirties.

We had a chilled out evening drinking rum before heading out in the small hours again, this time for Keith and Jonnie from Optimo playing at Tresor.
