A special gift

It may not look much but this vase means a lot to me as it was a gift from a delightful, although rather eccentric, lady in Carson, USA.  We got lost on our way to Mount St Helens (satnav malfunction) and stopped at a rather ramshackle shop to ask directions.  The owner was so sweet and gave us directions, a map, and this vase.  C was VERY dismissive of  her but I was very touched.  A big thank you to her for her kindness and gift, which I will treasure.
