I'm feeling bereft

I had to take my hens back today. Henrietta was actually Henry and so I wasn't confident that any of them were female.

I miss having them clucking round the pen and cheering excitedly when I appeared.

I have three new definitely females lined up to collect tomorrow. It's hard when you get to know them and like their personalities and then have to let them go again. That's why I feel bereft. :-(
