A Fabulous Day

I had a fabulous day today with great friends G and M. In the morning we went for a walk at Blakeney, firstly to a high point to view the overall scene and then along from the harbour to mudflats. One of the extras shows a decaying boat in the foreground with M watching birds with his binoculars above.

In the afternoon G and I went to Felbrigg Hall, a nearby National Trust property, whilst M watched the football. It was a glorious afternoon and we spent the vast majority of the time in the wonderful walled gardens where the main photo was taken. We were told that these had become disused and have been bought back only in recent years and now are regarded as some of the best in the country.

Then in the evening we heard a strange noise outside, went into the garden and saw a stunt plane doing a display over nearby fields - the other Extra. We have no idea why, but it was wonderful to see it and all for free! I expect nothing less on future visits :)
