Into Glasgow city centre early this morning to go uniform shopping. Glasgow on a Sunday morning still bears the scars of a Saturday night - police patrolling a cordoned off alley, dishevelled young gentlemen propping up doorways, stuff like that. We steered our way around these obstacles and executed a painless, quick, uniform shopping expedition. List is all ticked, eldest and youngest happy, me and hubby skint.

Swimming this afternoon, after which I came home and set up a game of Kubbs in the garden. Eldest and youngest preferred to play the Wii, so hubby and I had a Kubb tournament. Trouble is neither of us really know the rules that well. We just kinda threw bits of wood about, knocking things over and declaring ourselves winners.

Off to get the roast beef out of the oven now. Mmmm, yorkie puds, parsnips, roasties, cabbage, the works...can't wait.
