Leaving us

This afternoon, my sister left us.

After several years of illness my "big" sister (a few years older than me, but several inches shorter) finally passed away peacefully and painlessly in the Isabel Hospice, surrounded by her family.  She died with dignity, having made her own decision to  stop treatment.

She will be remembered with great love and affection.
