High Tea

Today we had a lazy morning.

Then we went to Outer Aberdeen Cats Protection open day...where we fell in love with lots of cats and felt really sad to leave them all at the pens

Then we went for High Tea at Mains of Scotstown Inn which was really nice, have never been there before but would go back.
Starter: lentil soup. Main: scampi, chips and peas. Followed by: tea and cakes.
I took a picture of the cakes, although I think they'd look much better if they were on a cake stand lol and they did indeed taste very nice.

But this is the photo of the day.
My daughter had curry for her main and when it came along, we joked that the poppadom was almost the same size as her head...

well actually, as you can see, it was :D :D
