Orange Geiger Tree

Scarlet Cordia/ Orange Geiger tree
Blooming Habits:
The very showy tubular orange flowers are up 1.2 to 2 inches in diameter (3-5 cm). They appear in large clusters, scattered over the tree, most of the warm season.

Fruiting Habits:
The fruits are oval shaped, 1 to 1.5 inches long (2.5 to 4 cm) with a whitish colour. They are borne in clusters. Although they are edible and have a pleasant fragrance, they have poor flavour.

Grows really well here in Oman and very drought tolerant and happy to grow in full sun.
