woke up at 5.30am to thrashing loud rain and the loudest thunder cracks I've ever heard, must have been right over meldrum. checked to see what the result was so far and was horrified to see that england had voted to leave whilst scotland had voted 62% in favour of remaining. totally shocked.
watched the news all morning. farage celebrated, cameron resigned, labour (corbyn) were blamed , boris and that twat gove looked like they were shitting their pants and hadn't meant this to happen. too late. nicola sturgeon stepped up with a great speech and reassured scotland as much as she could and set in motion plans for indyref 2. scary, risky stuff that can't be rushed but at the same time needs to be sorted before we're dragged out the eu...
interesting times indeed. never a dull moment...
as coincidence would have it, the quines had arranged to meet tonight, it was just what we all needed. so good to see them all, and a few new members too.
