I thought it would look good if I put a bottom bevel on the ends of the coffee table slab. The design change was approved by the client (Cynthia), so I got to work on it late this afternoon, and did one end by 10:30 pm. I do get somewhat obsessive when I want to see how something is going to look!

I hope the bevel is long enough -- it has to be planed by hand. You can get an idea of much work is involved by looking at the shavings on the floor. I'll have to turn the slab right side up and have the client inspect it tomorrow.
