But, then again . . . . .

Flower Friday.

Yes, I know, but it’s the way I feel today. Most of the Blips I’ve seen today have expressed disgust at the way the referendum vote turned out. It was ironic that today's daily papers were full of the predictions that the “Remain” lobby would comfortably win the day. The thing that grieves me most is that Cameron’s ploy in the Scottish referendum a few years ago was that if the Scots voted “Yes,” we would be forced out of the EU; and, a year later, he announces that he’s going to let the uninformed populace decide on the matter. Jnr had gambled and lost £5 on the result, he could afford to lose that amount. Cameron gambled his, and the country’s future on the result and couldn’t afford either. The saddest aspect is the pondering of which unsuitable politician is now set to take over the governance of Britain.

Thanks are due to BikerBear for hosting this week’s FlowerFriday challenge, and to Sainsbury’s for providing the subject (I didn’t buy it, we had cauliflower-cheese last week).

Just posted yesterday’s, “Aquilegia.”
