Village Summer Ball

This evening was the village Summer ball, the biggest event in the calendar and a huge fundraising affair. Elaine hosted our version as her house is near enough to the ball marquee to see the fireworks and hear the music.....if only it had been warm enough to sit outside!

So we had lots of tapas style things to eat and then some delicious desserts. Lovely evening after an absolutely horrid day of sadness at decisions made in the name of democracy.
