Mist, steam and speed

out with A&K on a walk along the Leicester Round.
The steam nut in the hi-viz coat assured us the train would be along in 5 minutes. Seemed longer stood in the fog and cold, and we heard her long before she hove into view.
City of Truro - looking a bit down in BR livery - where did the gold and green go? Hauling the Santa Special, regulator still wide open and the blower on after the long pull up from Loughborough.
Clothes stunk of steam coal and we were covered in soot smuts - lovely!!!!!
