Some Landscape Therapy

Woke to the news of a momentous decision.  Only time will tell if it was the right one.  I only wish the debate had been more about the merits of EU membership and less influenced by thinly veiled jingoistic attitudes.

By the evening I needed some landscape therapy so I drove out to Weston Park.  There was some lovely light for about half an hour and then it waned as clouds built up to the west.  This shot is from underneath a magnificent purple beach that stands in front of the hall.  It is so difficult to capture the colour of this tree, particular against the sky, so allowing the leaves to be backlit by the setting sun seemed a good idea.

The extra is of the western facade of the hall and the formal gardens that surround it.
