About half...

the people who voted, voted to stay in. About half voted to leave. The difference was in fact pretty slim, just a couple of percent either way. It is a rather crude sort of democracy which can't find a better solution to this conundrum than making nearly half the populace live according to the will of the other half. It makes for tension between the two groups. 
Anyway it is a sad day and I think I need to stop thinking about it and go and eat half an avocado.
