Sahte Cennet

Genuinely shocked to watch the news over a cup of tea this morning - I am amazed at the referendum result.  Late morning and we drove in to Akbuk to have yummy Turkish Breakfast at PizzaHatti beach restaurant,  where thanks to wifi I was able to continue to follow the news - followed by a bit of a swim and a sit on the beach (see extra).  Then we drove homewards and went to probably my fav place - Sahte Cennet (literally means 'false paradise' ....) beach club where we spent the next several hours on their pier, except when we were swimming in the Aegean :)  Such a lovely place, I think every trip to Akbuk has included a blip from here. The whole of the pier is lined with these beautiful bougainvilleas, it is so pretty, spacious and comfortable (extras).  Today we were the only ones there for most of the time, our own private paradise.  Mid evening and back to the flat for pasta on the patio and watching BBC news, a chance to digest the implications of Brexit.
