Mission Accomplished
Busy weekend ahead but on Sunday afternoon we are barbecuing come hell or high water!
In honour of this rare British event I assembled the new BBQ that we bought last year and never had the opportunity to unpack so it's been in the shed all this time.
It's not a fancy, all singing and dancing gas with eternal coals type BBQ, just a simple one with a lid and air vent. I've never tried those gas ones and don't think I really fancy one for the rare times we would get to use it.
The attraction of this one, other than the lid which we didn't have with the old one, is the fact that it was £49.00, reduced to £39.00 to £29.00 and then we got it at £19.00. Can't think of a better reason considering the old one was £12.00 nearly 20 years ago!
Extra is me with the completed project.
Busy weekend? Yes, I forgot to mention.
Saturday is all day in Ledbury with the RBL Riders attending the Herefordshire County Rally and Armed Forces Day. Anyone nearby should pop in, WW1 being commemorated with Living History groups and other war related stands.
Sunday we have yet another first communion, St Mary's church in Churchdown and then at Prinknash Abbey for the 'Reception' or whatever it's called after a first communion. Back home in the afternoon to prepare the BBQ.
