Going solo...

...24th July 2016. A day that will go down in the history books as the day the UK decided to leave the European Union. For now the result seems to have thrown up more questions than answers. I think it's saddening and shocking to think that we've walked away at a time when the more substantial challenges we face (climate change, austerity, immigration etc) require an international response.

The best question of the day was posed by a child in my class:

"Miss, you said we lived in Europe but where will we move to now?"
