worth the wait !

I've had this cactus for about 7 years and it's been really slow growing and never shown any sign of flowering. So earlier this year I decided to put it in the greenhouse. Nothing happened for a couple of months and then it developed a bunch of tiny round flower buds on the top. They steadily grew into large buds and today, in the warmth of the sun, they all opened out into this amazing bunch of large pink flowers. I've spent ages just looking at them and taking lots of photos.
