Showy Lady Slipper

This orchid is blooming in my backyard as I type.
Approximately six years ago I exchanged one plant
for one of my watercolors.  Now I have four blooms.
The orchid enthusiast claimed that the plant was
well worth over $200.  I have shepherded the one
plant all this time and for the first time, I have four
blooms.  I am delighted!
