Jill Roche...

...was a nursing friend , some 50 years ago . She taught me to embroider, designed my first wedding dress and is accomplished in paper making,drawing  and botanical art and has exhibited her very fine botanical art at the Chelsea Flower Show at the invitation of the Royal Horticultural Society.This is one of several works of hers that we enjoy at home. It is called "New Tide" and was worked by Jill in 1996.
